18/12/08 : Essensium again successfully demonstrated its real-time tracking and localization system at Stora Enso.

Stora Enso is a world leading paper producing company. In order to achieve the highest production efficiency, continuous tracking of people and rolling material is extremely important. With this system, driver errors resulting in production losses are eliminated.

Essensium proved the field applicability of its indoor and outdoor RTLS technology without any alterations or modifications of the yard, and without disrupting the production cycle. Essensium's RTLS technology has been especially designed to endure severe industrial requirements including humidity and extreme temperature ranges. It has also been designed to allow simultaneous indoor and outdoor long distance tracking and localization of moving assets.

The complete system was deployed and operational in less than an hour. Precise position with accuracy of better than 50 centimeters and long distance tracking over the complete yard was achieved.
