Essensium offers foundry access to multiple technology nodes: .13 and .18 micron CMOS and soon 90 nm!

For the .13 and .18 micron technology nodes, Essensium has preferential access to Silterra's foundry capacity, which offers manufacturing processes compatible with other foundries.

Silterra

Essensium is a member of the Silterra Design Services Network. Silterra has established a network of highly qualified Design Service companies to provide comprehensive design services to meet the outsourcing needs of its customers. The services provided range from initial system design to layout and physical verification.

Silterra is our preferred foundry partner for the 0.13 and 0.18 micron CMOS technology nodes. Silterra is a fast-growing wafer foundry service provider. It offers CMOS Logic, High Voltage and Mixed-Signal / Radio Frequency process technologies to customers of all sizes worldwide including many top-tier semiconductors companies.

Silterra's Fab 1, an award-winning 200mm facility, is designed with a maximum capacity of 40 thousand wafers per month and is already equipped with 36 thousand wafers per month. The fab utilizes 100% scanner photolithography equipment and is able to manufacture wafer technology down to 0.11µm process geometry. This facility is also equipped with SMIF Class 1 mini environment. Manufacturing operations utilize CIM automation for control of all process equipment. Each process module has an integral and real-time SPC feedback system to maintain outstanding process control. As a result, Silterra is able to deliver high yielding wafers, from prototypes to volume production.

Through our strategic relation with Silterra, Essensium gets preferential access to Silterra's foundry capacity which guarantees us short turn around times and on-time delivery, even for small to moderate volumes.
